An old tale of Australian bushranging intrigues and adventures in a dramatic decorated binding

First edition of this scarce and finely-produced work. Although published a year after the first Blinky Bill title, the illustrative style of Bridget and the Bees harks back to Wall's delicate drawings for J.J. Hall's The Crystal Bowl, published in 1921, and suggests that it was written and illustrated well before its publication date. This is the rare English edition, which was followed by an American edition the following year.

Wonderful kangaroo-shaped book about a young kangaroo learning to hop, complete with an extra stand-up joey which fits into the mother kangaroo's pouch on the front card. This remarkable children's book, published as part of a series of "Mother and Baby Animal Books", is not recorded by Muir.

"The Happiest Book of the Year." The story of an Aboriginal community on Argyle Station, Kimberley, North West Australia

With illustrations by Percy Lindsay. This is a presentation copy dedicated by the author to famous Australian poet, Jack Moses (1861-1945). "To Moses of the Jack name with the author's compliments." Moses was an Sydney-based whisky merchant and renowned troubadour and author of the iconic Australian Ballad 'Nine Miles from Gundagai.

Setting out a detailed photographic history and documentation of the Fitzroy chocolate works, this opulent trade catalogue illustrates a sample of the 700 lines of MacRobertson confectionary which, according to the flowery prose, "represent the highest attainment in the art of chocolate-making". A note on the back wrapper from the printer, Specialty Press, reads, "Mr Robertson spared no expense, and gave us every encouragement, to produce a booklet worthy of his vast business, and also worthy of ourselves as Printers".
